Info COVID-19

The protection plan drawn up by EPFL Pavilions is based on the regulations instituted by the FOPH (Swiss Federal Office of Public Health), the directives of the Council of State and the EPFL COVID-19 Operating Committee.

EPFL Pavilions makes every effort to ensure that your visit takes place in the best possible conditions. We are welcoming visitors in a space that's been adapted to accommodate the new anti-COVID-19 measures so that you can confidently book your visit with us for our current and upcoming shows.

Hand hygiene
All visitors must clean their hands regularly. Hydroalcoholic gel dispensers are available at the entrance of the buildings. We also offer the possibility of washing your hands with soap and water in our lavatories.

Masks and social distancing
Wearing a mask is mandatory at EPFL from the age of 12 years and upon entering a building, a mask must be worn at all times, including when moving around the premises (corridors, restaurants, parking lots, elevators, toilets, etc.). Masks are available for our visitors at the reception desk.
Respect for social distance is also mandatory between people who do not share the same household.

Cleaning
Surface cleaning is carried out regularly in the public areas of the EPFL in accordance with the needs of the School. Rigorous cleaning is performed within the exhibit spaces on a regular basis.

Flow management
Traceability for sanitary purposes is carried out via the SocialPass application. EPFL Pavilions does not have access to any personal data.
The number of people simultaneously in the space is limited to 5 visitors per hour. Please consider registering for your visit prior to arrival, to guarantee that you will be able to access the exhibits at your preferred time and date.

Free visits
Visits are free, but, due to the COVID-19 restrictions, space is limited to 5 visitors per hour.
We encourage you to book your visit via the website, to guarantee your preferred visit date and time.
We provide printed brochures at the reception desk, but we strongly encourage you to access the exhibition booklet (PDF document) to print at home or to consult on your mobile device during your visit.

Guided tours
Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, we are not offering guided tours at the moment. Upon your visit, our docents, mediators, and, on special occasions our exhibit's curator, will be on-site to provide insights to help make your visit more enjoyable.
